Deadly earthquake hits Iran and Iraq, more than 300 dead

More than 300 people are dead after a massive earthquake struck the region between Iran and Iraq on Sunday. Local media estimated more than 2,500 to be injured. The 7.3 magnitude tremor hit close to Halabjah a city in the Kurdish region of northern Iraq. The quake was reportedly felt throughout the middle east.
