Earthquake Hits Iran and Iraq, More Than 450 Dead

At least 450 people have been killed in Iran's deadliest earthquake in more than
a decade. The 7.3 magnitude earthquake occurred on Sunday in the mountainous western porvince of Iran, bordering on Iraq. Thousands of Iranians are now homeless and 7,000 people have been reported injured. Rescue teams continue search operations for dozens trapped beneath the rubble of collapsed houses in towns and villages. Officials expect the death toll to rise as rescue teams make into more remote areas of Iran.
