Terrifying moment a toddler hangs from beneath a first-floor window

A terrifying video from China showing a toddler hanging by one foot from a first-floor apartment window.
The video, which was captured on August 9 in Shaanxi Province, shows the three-year-old hanging about five metres up the air by one foot which is caught in some cables.
A crowd of locals stand beneath the boy holding a duvet to catch him as he calls out repeatedly for his father.
Eventually a local resident came with a ladder and successfully rescued the boy.
According to local media, the child fell from the unlocked window when his father went out shopping and was only saved when one of his legs became tangled in the cables beneath the window sill.
