Trump To CNN's Acosta: 'I Like Real News...You Are Fake News'

President Trump slammed the media yet again during a press appearance on Monday.

President Trump has publicly called CNN’s Jim Acosta out for being “fake news.”
The exchange occurred on Monday after Trump announced a new effort to protect U.S. intellectual property rights.
As the event was wrapping up, a reporter identified as Acosta could be heard asking, “Mr. President, can you explain why you did not condemn those hate groups by name over the weekend?”
The reporter was referring to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday as white nationalists gathered for a large rally and Trump blamed the chaos on "many sides" during his initial statement.
Trump told Acosta, “They've been condemned. They have been condemned.”
Perhaps in response to the initial backlash, the president said in remarks made earlier on Monday, “Racism is evil and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to all that we hold dear as Americans.”
Acosta eventually asked him about answering more questions regarding the incident, and Trump told him, “It doesn't bother me at all, but you know, I like real news, not fake news. You're fake news.”
The CNN reporter has since tweeted that he responded back, “haven't you spread a lot of fake news yourself, sir?”
