Hetauda Residents Wade Through Floodwaters

Heavy rains caused severe flash floods and landslides across Nepal, starting on August 11. Major transportation disruption, dozens of deaths and displaced families were reported.These videos from the city of Hetauda in the Makwanpur District show people wading in deep floodwater on August 11, and a large truck overturned in mud a few days later, on August 13.On August 12, Janardan Sharma, the country’s home minister, said, “a total of 30 people have been killed so far.
