Residents woke to find a major road out of Beaudesert had been inundated by floodwaters in a deluge brought by ex-Tropical Cyclone Debbie on Friday, March 31.State Emergency Service crews rescued residents as the region was lashed by heavy rainfall.Footage shows a group of people gathered at the blocked roadway.According to the ABC, residents living in low-lying areas of southeast Queensland were told to evacuate, while some roads in and out of Beaudesert were closed.
