Timelapse Shows Smoke Billowing From Northern California Wildfire

A large plume of smoke rose from a wildfire burning in Plumas County, California, on July 31.This timelapse video from the Greenhorn Creek Volunteer Fire Department shows smoke billowing from the Minerva Fire near Mill Creek in Plumas County. Mill Creek is around two miles east of Quincy, which could be threatened by the blaze due to southwest winds, according to the US Forest Service.The fire had burned around 1,350 acres since it started on July 29, according to authorities.
