Several vehicles were carried down Patton Creek in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, after more than three inches of rain fell in under an hour on Wednesday, July 26.The rain started falling in the Birmingham area on July 24, when flash flooding was first reported.This video shows the flood carrying vehicles down the creek behind Anthony’s Car Wash in Vestavia Hills.
