Trump, Putin met for second, undisclosed time at G20 summit

President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin met for a second, previously undisclosed time during a dinner for G20 leaders at a summit earlier this month in Germany, according to White House official. National Security Council spokesman Michael Anton told CNN According to Ian Bremmer, the president of political risk consultancy Eurasia Group, Trump got up from his seat halfway through dinner and spent about an hour talking "privately and animatedly" with Putin, "joined only by Putin's own translator." Trump is under a lot of pressure from Congress and a special counsel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election and whether or not his campaign was involved.
