Time Inc. set to eliminate 300 jobs

Just two months after Time Inc.'s board decided not to sell the company, new reports say that they are eliminating around 300 jobs from print, corporate and sales positions. The cut is the companies attempt to reinvest itself in the digital media landscape and in video. We’re re-engineering our entire cost structure. We’re trying to be as nimble and efficient as possible, and get this process moving. The company has been struggling to deal with declining revenue due to the shift away from print, seeing an eight percent drop in total revenue for the first quarter.
