More Than a Dozen People Missing After 7-Storey Building Collapses in Nairobi

A seven-storey building in the Embakasi neighborhood of southeast Nairobi, Kenya, collapsed late on June 12.According to reports, more than a hundred of the building’s residents were evacuated shortly before it collapsed, however, 15 people were still unaccounted for by the following morning.Some residents had vacated the building, which was unplanned and unapproved when erected in 2007, in the days before the collapse after cracks and bending reportedly appeared in the walls.These videos were captured on June 13, the morning after the building collapsed.
