Tyra Banks Sued for 'Assaulting, Verbally Abusing' AGT Contestant's Daughter

Tyra Banks is reportedly in hot water at her new job.
The America’s Got Talent judge is at the center of a new lawsuit filed against the show’s producers, after a contestant – only identified as Jane Doe – says the former model humiliated her minor daughter during a March 19th taping of the show.
The keep things straight, the daughter was not the one performing on that night. The mom and her husband performed a song about her bond with her daughter, but the panel didn’t share her enthusiasm and were “humiliated” by the judges.
Jane Doe alleges that Banks added insult to injury by making fun of the song in front of her daughter, pulling the daughter’s hair, verbally abusing her, and insinuating that the girl was conceived by accident.
The plaintiffs are accusing Banks of assault and seeking damages for infliction of emotional distress.
The production company has already promised not to use Jane Doe’s audition in the broadcast.
