Kim Kardashian is facing another lawsuit.
And this one could get interesting.
A man filed a hundred million dollar lawsuit against the reality star and her company for patent infringement.
He claims that he obtained a patent in 2013 for an integrated lighting accessory and case for a mobile phone device, and he says the LuMee – the device Kim hawks on social media to take the perfect selfie – infringes on his patent.
In court documents, he claims it has been extremely difficult to his device to complete in the selfie case market against Kim because of her influence, and he has suffered financially as a result.
The lawsuit requests 100 million dollars to make up for lost profits and cover attorneys fees and an injunction to prevent Kim, her company, and any business to use his patent.
Kim’s attorney’s claim the lawsuit has no merit and is just another attempted shakedown.
