Pokhran tragedy : Army officer killed during military exercise

An Army Major Dhruv Yadav was killed during a routine military exercise in Pokhran on Tuesday night. According to the initial reports, he was of 75 Armoured regiment and died due to an explosion during tank firing. He was struck by a splinter during a fire power demonstration involving Arjun tanks. The Army has ordered a Court of Inquiry (CoI) into the incident.
