Russian President Vladimir Putin received U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Wednesday despite less than friendly relations between the two countries.Tillerson, who was in Moscow for the day to meet with Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, met with Putin in the Kremlin around 6 pm local timeRussia and the United States are currently going head-to-head with each other, with the U.S. saying the Russia was either "incompetent or complicit" in Syria's chemical attack on its civilians last week.
Russiaresponded by accusing the U.S. of fabricating that the Assad regime was responsible for the attack in order to justify the "illegitimate" retaliation launched against Syria.
