GoPro will cut 270 more jobs

GoPro announced Wednesday that it was cutting 270 jobs, in addition to the 200 it said it would eliminate in November.
The cuts are part of an effort to reduce operating expenses by $200 million year over year. The stock rose by more than 11 percent after hours on the news.

In its last quarter of 2016, the company lost $116 million due to production delays on its Hero5 camera and the recall of its flagship drone, Karma.
