Extreme road rage attack kills father in front of his two kids

AIEA, HAWAII — A road rage incident outside a shopping center got so far out of hand that two little girls who were sitting in the backseat are now left without their dad.

On March 4, two drivers got into a heated argument just outside a shopping mall. One of the drivers, Kennyn Pahio, 31, reportedly stepped out of his car and walked over to the other man, and punched him through the car window.

Things escalated quickly when the other man, Darryl Freeman, 72, exited his vehicle and shot Pahio in the street. Freeman then got back in his car and ran Pahio over before driving away. Pahio’s two little children could only watch from their car in horror.

After failed CPR attempts by paramedics, Pahio was rushed to hospital where he died. Freeman, a former fire chief and former convict, drove home and barricaded himself inside.

Police managed to get him out of his house and arrest him for second-degree murder.
