See Kane Mousah as you have never seen him before in this edition of Fight Live TV Behind The Fighter Part 1.

Kane ‘The Danger’ Mousah is one of the most energetic and passionate MMA fighters and in this week’s documentary Kane unveils his extraordinary journey to success and the pitfalls he has experienced along the way.

In the first part of the documentary Kane begins to explain how life as a kid in Manchester was at times hard, with his mother only being the parental figure present.

As Kane grew up he began spending time on the streets, times in which he was getting into trouble and taking part in illegal activities.
Kane explains that it was only until he saw a friend, Ashley, MMA fighting. The skill and technique had him hooked.

“Ashley was a savage in the cage and I just wanted to do that.”

In excitement Kane describes how Moss Side Ground ‘n’ Pound built him into the character he is today. He spent the majority of his time training which ultimately meant his presence on the streets began to decline as his passion increased.

The turning point was when he moved to a different gym and began learning more technical fighting that eventually secured him fights.

With one pro fight under his belt, Kane’s career was starting to develop.

He describes his enthusiasm and passion for MMA and how much he'd developed as a person and a fighter. One day he found out the UFC were looking for fighters, he used his boisterous character to make his presence known. This worked and Kane's UFC career looked to be taking off.

With instruction to get three pro fights in order to be considered for UFC, Kane began demanding fights. He secured one and won, with only one more fight to bag his prospects looked good. What Kane didn’t know was the police had him under surveillance after falling in with the wrong crowd.

He didn’t realise the how much his actions played in the crime and was sentenced to nine years in prison after being found guilty.

Kane was gutted. He was so close to UFC only to have it whipped from underneath him.
