Ingredients
4 tbsp ghee
1/2 tsp hing (Asafoetida)
3-4 bay leaves
2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp chopped ginger
1 tsp black pepper
2 chopped green chillies
1 chopped onion
2 chopped tomatoes
Salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup chopped frash bean
1 cup chopped carrot
1 chopped potato
1 cup green peas
1/2 moong dal
2 cup rice
Coriander leaves
1 cup chopped capsicum
3 red chillies
Butter

Method
In a pressure cooker add 4 tbsp ghee, 1/2 tsp hing (Asafoetida), 3-4 bay leaves, 2 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tbsp chopped ginger, 1 tsp black pepper, 2 chopped green chillies, 1 chopped onion, stir it nicely and cook for around 2-3 mins.

Add 2 chopped tomatoes, Salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 cup chopped frash bean, 1 cup chopped carrot, 1 chopped potato, 1 cup green peas and mix it well.

Add 1/2 moong dal, 2 cup rice, coriander leaves, mix well and add 2 and half cups of water, put the lid and cook it for 4 whistles.

Add 1 cup hot water and 1 cup chopped capsicum give it a mix.

Garnish it with 3 red chillies, chopped coriander leaves and butter.

Spicy and tasty Masala Khichdi is ready to be served!
