Dahi Bhalla - Desi Chat Recipe - Easy To Make - Swaad Anusaar With Seema

Dahi Bhalla is a popular chat recipe in North India, where soft vadas are dipped in thick yogurt and garnished with spices and chutneys.

Ingredients
1/2 cup soaked Urad dal (Split Black gram)
2 Green chillies
Salt
1 tbsp celery (ajwain)
Raisins
1/2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Oil
1/2 tbsp Hing powder (Asafoetida)
1 bowl thick Yogurt
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Jeera Powder
1/2 tbsp Black Pepper Powder
Coriander leaves
Tamarind Chutney(Imli ki chutney)

Method
Take 1/2 cup soaked Urad dal and put it in a grinder, add 2 green chillies, little water and grind it into a thick paste.

Remove the paste in a bowl and add 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp celery (ajwain), some raisins and mix well.

Add 1/2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste.

In a pan heat some oil and fry the vadas.

Take a bowl full of water, add 1/2 tbsp hing powder and put the fried vadas in it and keep it aside for 1 hour.

Take 1 bowl of thick Yogurt , add 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp jeera powder, 1/2 tbsp black pepper powder, salt, Coriander leaves and mix well

Squeeze out the water from the vadas and add it to the serving bowl, pour the yogurt on it and garnish with Tamarind Chutney and some coriander leaves.

The sweet and delicious desi style Dahi Bhalla are ready!
