Bejing to Trump: One China policy 'not up for negotiation'

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang warned President-elect Donald Trump that the One China policy is not negotiable on Saturday. "There is only one China in the world, Taiwan is an inalienable region of China, and the government of the People's Republic of China is the only legitimate government representing China," Kang said. The statement comes following Trump's threats to dismantle Chinese trade practices, and establish stronger connections with Taiwan. "Everything is under negotiation, including One China," Trump told the Wall Street Journal.
