College Student Arrested For Carrying Weapons And Fireworks Into Trump Tower

A 19-year-old college student was arrested on Monday evening after walking into Trump Tower with a backpack full of weapons and fireworks.

A 19-year-old college student was arrested on Monday evening after walking into Trump Tower with a backpack full of weapons and fireworks, reports the New York Post.
Alexander Wang was stopped after a security checkpoint metal detector went off.
The Washington Post reports that when Secret Service personnel checked the bag they found a knife, handcuffs, a garrote, and fireworks.
The Baruch College student told authorities that he typically carries such items as he is both a survivalist and fan of pyrotechnic displays. 
According to the New York Daily News, "He told investigators he’d never had a problem carrying his bag — weapons and explosives included — into the Midtown skyscraper the 10 or so prior times he visited, including two days after Trump won the presidency."
Criminal and unlawful possession charges have been filed against him.
