Trump rejects Mitt Romney as secretary of state pick

President-elect Donald Trump has rejected former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney for secretary of state. Trump delivered the news over the phone to Romney on Monday night, according to CNN. The news comes only weeks after Trump met with Romney at a posh restaurant in New York City. During the campaign trail, Romney blasted Trump for being a "con man, phony and fraud." It’s believed Trump will name ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson to lead the State Department, which he will officially announce Tuesday.
