Mitt Romney has surfaced as a potential candidate for the Secretary Of State position.
Donald Trump’s campaign sparked much Republican Party infighting, but it appears many of the battle hatchets are now being buried.
According to an NBC report, an undisclosed source has confirmed that Mitt Romney is among the people Trump is considering for the Secretary of State position.
The two are scheduled to meet on Sunday, notes Reuters.
Not long ago, Romney called Trump “a phony” and “a fraud.”
Trump asserted that Romney “choked like a dog” during the 2012 presidential race.
He also called the former Massachusetts governor a “loser.”
Another name that has come up in regards to the Secretary of State position is Nikki Haley, the governor of South Carolina, notes KTLA.
