Healthy Homemade Gluten-Free Pizzas I Madeleine Shaw & Kaushal Beauty

Madeleine Shaw and Kaushal have got together to bring us some amazing healthy recipes!

We absolutely LOVE pizza and could eat it every day... which is why we’re excited for this super-healthy version.

Madeleine’s pizza is gluten-free and uses cauliflower as a base, so it’s healthier than regular pizza, lower in carbs and prevents bloating.

This is the perfect recipe to make with a group of friends. Feel free to experiment with your toppings and let us know what you create!

Madeleine’s Recipe (makes 2 pizzas)

For the Pizza Dough
One large cauliflower
2 egg whites
6 tablespoons of quinoa flour (or other gluten-free flour)
Half a tablespoon of dried oregano
Pinch of salt
Coconut oil
1 onion, chopped
1 tin of tomatoes
Half a tablespoon of rosemary

For the toppings (or use whatever you like!)
Pesto
Chopped peppers
Mozzerella
Sun dried tomatoes
Chilli

Method
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
2. Cut up the cauliflower, pop it into the food processor and pulse it
3. Add the egg whites to the food processor along with the quinoa flour and oregano and salt and pulse again to form a dough
4. Form the dough into two balls and flatten into pizza shapes on greaseproof paper. Pop in the oven for 20 minutes.
5. To make the tomato sauce, fry the onion in coconut oil and add the tinned tomatoes and rosemary. Reduce down the tomatoes.
6. After 20 minutes take the pizzas from the oven, add the tomato sauce and your toppings, and pop back in for ten minutes.
7. Enjoy your homemade healthy pizzas!
