WARNING GRAPHIC VIDEO // UPDATE: DALLAS — Five police officers were killed and several other officers were injured by two snipers on Thursday night during a Dallas Black Lives Matter protest.

The rally was against the fatal shootings of black men by police in Louisiana and Minnesota earlier this week. Protesters were heard chanting “black lives matter” during the event.

The shots were reportedly fired at the protest near Belo Garden Park in downtown Dallas.
Authorities say it appears two snipers shot at the police from elevated positions during the rally. Bomb crews and at least one SWAT team were reportedly on the scene.

According to Reuters, at least eleven officers were shot in total.
