Clinton slams Trump, says he will 'take America backwards'

Hillary Clinton tore into Republican rival Donald Trump Friday, saying that the GOP presidential nominee would set progress back decades for women.
"When Donald Trump says, 'Let's make America great again,' that is code for 'Let's take America backwards,'" Clinton said in a speech to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
In particular, Clinton slammed Trump for saying women who undergo abortions should face punishment if the procedure was outlawed.
Clinton said Trump wants to take the country "back to the days when abortion was illegal."
In fairness, Trump's campaign released a statement, reverting to a correction he made where he said that doctor's performing the act should be punished.
