The floor leaders of Korea's three main political parties are setting the stage for the incoming National Assembly.
A degree of cooperation will be required to ensure this parliament runs more smoothly than the last.
Park Ji-won fills us in on how the new chiefs are going about setting a different tone.
The Minjoo Party of Korea's floor leader Woo Sang-ho met with his ruling Saenuri Party counterpart Chung Jin-suk on Thursday for the first time since their election to their posts this week.

"We need to stick together. We need to be united. Through cooperation and innovation, We will find a new way to get through this."

The Minjoo Party's Woo,... an eight-term party spokesperson, has the job of leading the largest political camp in the next parliament.
Known for his gentle and reasonable manner, Woo is expected to help mend relations with the other parties... and among the party's factions.
His strongest support came from first-term lawmaker-elects aspiring to change the party from within.

"The Minjoo Party of Korea has asked me to make the party capable of shaping the next administration... through integration and innovation."
