Interviewer: How did you ski to be able to ski without a mistake and to be 1,51 Seconds ahead?
Lindsey: It wasn’t easy. We were 9 seconds faster in Downhill today as we were in the Training Run. It was difficult because the line wasn’t the same as in the Training Run. It was also bumby the „Hölle“ where some crashed. I tried to make a solid run. It wasn’t a run without mistakes but I skied smart and I carried the speed to the finish.
Interviewer: How clever did you have to be today? I had the feeling you skied at some parts an other line. Was this the line you saw the inspection?
Lindsey: I saw it after some racers. It was difficult for the 1st racers. But you also shouldn’t risk everything. There are for sure some curves where you have to ski more round to make the next gate. It’s not always easy but i think it was an advantage that I skied also at the World Championships here because there it was also difficult. I don’t know what I can say it was great.
Interviewer: When you skied Conny Hütter and Lizz Görgl where here and they were impressed and couldn’t believe it. Is the win more special because you won with such a big margin?
Lindsey: No I only try to win. I only look on my line and what I can do. When I can make my plan then it’s okay. I don’t know always how I can ski so fast but I just do it. And also my service man Heinzi makes an incredible job.. My skis are always fast and we are great team. A power team.
