The TRAI has recommended a price of 11,000 cr per megahertz for the highly efficient 700 Megahertz band for the upcoming spectrum auctions. That is 4 times the amount compared to the 1800 MHz band. Speaking exclusively to ET NOW, TRAI Chairman RS Sharma says the high price is justified and the excess spectrum will go a long way in reducing call drops. Let's listen in.
