Plumber who built 'bomb' and threatened Muslims likes Trump and Hillary

RICHMOND, CALIFORNIA — On Sunday afternoon police in Richmond, California arrested 55-year-old plumber William Celli. Local news stations are reporting that police were tipped off after Celli made unspecified threats against the local Muslim community, and allegedly posted a photo of a homemade "bomb" on facebook.
Reports say police were informed on Dec. 17 that Celli may have been manufacturing explosives in his Richmond home. Then, on Sunday afternoon, police arrested Celli and discovered his "bomb," which turned out to be a dud.
Nevertheless, he's been charged with possession of an explosive device and making criminal threats.
But, the news peg for this story is that Celli is apparently a supporter of Donald Trump, and fears that "Muslims will kill every American." Both inferences were gathered by news outlets scraping his public Facebook feed for any information about the guy.
Although he says nice things about Trump twice and says lots of things about Muslims and Hispanics, there isn't enough evidence to say Trump's anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant rhetoric motivated Celli to build a bomb.
Celli also says, nice-ish things about Hillary Clinton on a couple of occasions and appears to be concerned about the fate of the middle class. And, being from the Bay Area, he still enjoys him a chai latte and is up with the latest speech-to-text technology, even when it produces non-cogent results.
Is Celli an unhinged bomb-making supporter of Trump or Hillary? Or is he just, like many Americans, a complex if pissed-off person who never learned how to make a bomb properly? I guess we'll find out at the trial.
