FAI World Air Games 2015 - Highlights Day 4
  • 8 years ago
One of the most spectacular events in the FAI World Air Games finished on day four. Canopy Piloting, or Swooping, is a fast-paced, beautiful discipline that combines nerves of steel with the finesse and grace of a gymnast. The discipline consists of three events: accuracy, distance and speed. Curt Bartholomew (USA) seized the day and seized the win, while Nick Batsch (USA) took silver and the UAE’s Cornelia Mihai took bronze.

The FAI World Air Games, conducted under the rules of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), is the premier international multi-discipline air sports event fielding the world’s top athletes. The 2015 edition of the FAI World Air Games has been awarded to the United Arab Emirates for the first time and will be held in Dubai from 1 to 12 December 2015, presenting an array of 11 sports and 24 disciplines.
