It was in 2010 that Geely took over from Ford the ownership of Volvo and the Scandinavian Chinese partnership started and looking at the first product born out of the alliance it is really more Scandinavian than Chinese. And it was about time the XC90 got a changeover too. It has been around for 14 years before this new one came along last August. The new XC90 is built on what Volvo internally calls the SPA or the Scalable Product Architecture. 1969 cc, 4 cylinder diesel engine churns out max power of 225 bhp & 470 Nm of peak torque. The XC90 is sold in 2 trims the inscription which is the top of the line and the Momentum. The Inscription is priced at Rs 77.9 lakh while as the Momentum will is priced at Rs. 64.9 lakh.

The 2nd generation Figo is available with a 1.2-litre petrol which churns out 86bhp, a 1.5-litre petrol with AT which puts out 110bhp, the highest among the three and the diesel 1.5-litre too is the most powerful of the lot. The new Figo prices start from Rs. 4.29 to Rs. 7.40.
