15CM spoon removed after woman swallows it in China

A bizarre video has emerged from China of a woman who 'accidentally' swallowed an entire spoon while eating a bowl of noodles.

The footage, captured in Yangzhou this week, shows emergency doctors working to remove the 15cm steel spoon after X-raying her.

After two hours of work the spoon was safely removed but doctors are reportedly sceptical over how she managed to swallow it without intending to.
