Prakash's mother seems very upset and angry and she also argues and fights with Chhaya. Chhaya is also very upset and sad.

Ardhangini (1959) is a Bollywood Classic Romantic Drama film directed by Ajit Chakraborty. The story focuses on the life of ill fated lady Chhaya, who loses her mother, house, her fathers job at her birth. Despite of all rejections her father brings her up with lots of love. Unfortunately her father dies of shock hearing that Chhaya's marriage is broken. Chhaya comes to a new life with her marriage to her lover, Prakash. But will Chhayas presence continue to cause problems in this household also, especially when Prakash's plane goes missing?
