Prakash is getting ready to go to his job and Chhaya helps him to get ready. Later, Prakash's mother argues with Chhaya without any appropriate reason.

Ardhangini (1959) is a Bollywood Classic Romantic Drama film directed by Ajit Chakraborty. The story focuses on the life of ill fated lady Chhaya, who loses her mother, house, her fathers job at her birth. Despite of all rejections her father brings her up with lots of love. Unfortunately her father dies of shock hearing that Chhaya's marriage is broken. Chhaya comes to a new life with her marriage to her lover, Prakash. But will Chhayas presence continue to cause problems in this household also, especially when Prakash's plane goes missing?
