Aafat is a superhit hindi movie, released in year 1977. This film produced and directed by Atma Ram, staring Navin Nischol, Leena Chandavarkar, AmjadKhan, Mehmood and Nazir Hussain. Aafat is the story of the unmasking of a high level gang involved in trafficking of drugs and smuggled diamonds by Amar(Navin Nischol) who's a C.B.I. officer and Chaya (Leena Chandavarkar),a police officer. It is the story of Shera(Amjad Khan), a hired killer, who is an underworld don, until one day when he is trapped. Aafat begins with the sudden and tragic Killing of a C.B.I. man at the airport, which leads Amar and the audience through a maze of exciting events. Amar (Navin Nischol) joins in the investigation with Mahesh(Mehmood) a crime reporter, who unravels quite a few mysteries.
