Nitish Kumar Named Chief Ministerial Candidate Of RJD-JD(U) Alliance for Bihar Elections

It’s now official! Nitish Kumar will be the Chief Ministerial candidate of the JD(U)-RJD alliance for the upcoming state elections in Bihar. The two parties have decided to join forces and fight BJP in the state. RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav himself made the announcement saying the alliance was crucial for both parties and that Nitish Kumar was the right face to represent it. Nitish Kumar has also left the door open for a possible alliance with the Congress in the upcoming polls.
