Stupid bus robbery fail in Seattle: victim disarms robber

An armed robbery attempt on a Seattle bus in November took a turn for the hilarious when the crook got his gun taken away and ended up beaten into submission by a mob of public transit-taking hipsters.

Trevonte Brown is accused of committing a string of armed robberies on public buses in west Seattle, ending in November when he got pwned by a bunch of hipsters. In the video, now circulated widely online, Brown can be seen walking down the aisle after robbing a woman of her phone. She waves emphatically toward the end of the bus to try to warn the other passengers, but they are all too absorbed with their own phones as well. Brown picks his next mark, a skinny jeans and thick rimmed glasses-wearing guy listening to music on an iPhone. Brown sticks the muzzle of his pistol into the guy's face, and without missing a beat, the guy jumps Brown so fast he almost comes out of his zipped up black hoodie. Then, once Brown is on the backfoot, the other passengers on the bus split evenly between reflexive fight or flight. Brown is instantly submerged in a ball of angry commuters, trying to keep his finger off the trigger of his semi-automatic pistol.

Brown's own mother told local news station KIRO7 she's glad he was caught before somebody got hurt. After all, if it was fashionable for hipsters to take the bus strapped, the whole thing would have turned into a tin can full of hamburger with Brown in the middle of it.
