Police are determined to locate two men in Garden City, Idaho, who have been accused of attempting to rob a local home armed with a cattle prod.

For those unfamiliar with the device, it is essentially a handheld contraption used to drive cattle or livestock by striking or poking the animals. The prods can deliver a low-current electric shock.

The unidentified men successfully entered the home and one of the suspects allegedly shocked three of the five residents with the cattle prod. Thankfully the victims were not seriously injured.

While it’s unclear exactly what happened in the house, the culprits were able to flee the scene.

The male armed with the cattle prod is said to be Caucasian and in his early 20s. Standing about 5' 8", he wore a white hooded sweatshirt and jeans during the attempted robbery.

The description on the second suspect is less detailed. Police only released that he wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants on the night of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
