Caught on tape: Quick-thinking store owner disarms robbery suspect

Surveillance video of an armed robbery attempt in Brazil shows the fast-thinking store clerk disarm the robber in a flash.

It happened Friday in downtown São Paulo just before 9:00 a.m. The gunman forced his way into the store, but was soon distracted by another employee.

That’s when the store owner snatched the gun, wrestling the man to the ground.

The gunman was shot in the back, and later arrested for the robbery attempt.
