Swedish Auto Maker Scania Begins To Make In India

Betting big on the Indian market, Swedish commercial vehicle making company Scania is all set to enter India’s bus market! Scania will roll out buses from its factory near Bengaluru in the next few days and will compete with Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland and Eicher Motors in the segment. Scania has invested 40 million euros in the first phase of its bus and truck plant with a capacity to manufacture 1,000 buses and 3,000 trucks annually.
