Gandhinagar: 7 new districts to get their own Panchayat Body - Tv9 Gujarati

Gandhinagar: Ahead of the Panchayat election season in last quarter of next year, the Gujarat government has completed finally procedure of formation of new districts. Panchayat department of Government of Gujarat has asked old districts to cancel the membership of panchayat members who belong to the areas of new district. Elected members of old district will become member of panchayat of new district. New districts were formed a year ago, however separate district Panchayat bodies will now, come to existence.
