Whisky.com tastes the Sigelton of Dufftown Spey Cascade. It is a whisky without an age statement. The casks chosen for this whisky were American and European oak casks. One of the few Scotch whiskies that still state on their label that they use European oak.

The nose:
Dark fruits, cereals malt, backed apples and in the back you get the European oak.
The taste:
Real spiciness coming up followed by an earthiness, caramel, walnuts. It tastes quite mature.
The finish:
The European wood stays quite long with its spiciness.
