Thousands march against Haiti's Martelly in Port-au-Prince

Thousands government opponents gathered in downtown Port-au-Prince on Saturday (March 29) to protest against Haiti's President Michel Martelly.
Demonstrators carried signs and shouted as they marched through the streets, calling for Martelly to resign.
Opponents' complaints were wide ranging, saying that Martelly has not done enough to alleviate hunger and stem a cholera epidemic since he took office in 2011. Others called for legislative elections that they say are more than two years overdue.
Dr. Frantz Large, a leading member of the Fanmi Lavalas party, said that Haitians are struggling against more than just its own government.
