Thousands march in Pakistan against NATO

STORY: The Jamaat-e-Islami on Tuesday held a massive march from the northwestern city of Peshawar to the Bab-e-Khyber in Jamrud near the Pakistan-Afghan border to protest against the re-opening of the supply line to NATO forces in Afghanistan.
Chanting "No to NATO supplies" and "Go, America, go!" thousands of JI activists marched along the rugged road to Jamrud, led by the leaders riding in a truck.
Pakistan suspended NATO supply routes to Afghanistan last November after a cross-border NATO air attack killed 24 Pakistani soldiers.
The supply routes were re-opened earlier this month after U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton apologized for the strike.
The Pakistan government's announcement to resume NATO supplies has resulted in a spate of protests across the country.
