The Kimberley Diamond Cup is the 2014 Skateboarding World Championships, with 300 skaters from more than 70 countries invited to skate. Street skaters will tackle the world-class Kumba Skate Plaza, and the vert and Big Air skaters will showcase their skills on the best vert ramp in Africa and the only MiniMega Ramp set up on the continent. With over $500,000 in cash prizes, it’s the largest single purse in skateboarding, and the contest’s unique head-to-head format attracts contest veterans like Nyjah Huston as well as young upstarts like Matt Berger and raw street skaters like Evan Smith.
