"The 2015 Skateboarding World Championships at the Kimberley Diamond Cup presented by Kumba Iron Ore" will take place live on Oct 9th & 10th, Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7p local time from Kimberley, Northern Cape Province, South Africa. Friday's Vert Championship airs on SuperSport from 7-8:30p, and Saturday's Street Final airs from 7p-9p...the satellite signal is distributed via British Telecom Tower in London, specific coordinates TBD, and will be simulcast live on the web, details also TBD.
The Vert World Championships will feature 12 of the sport's best half-pipe skaters in the world battling it out under the lights for a $35,000 first prize, while the Street Finals and it's unique, head-to-head elimination format will also unfold at night for the first time ever, setting a dramatic scene for the fight for $100,000 to the Street World Champion.
