The 33-31 Utah Jazz will travel to play the 47-17 Oklahoma City Thunder in an NBA pro basketball game on Wednesday night. Tip off time from Oklahoma City is scheduled for 8PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ESPN.

The NBA odds from this pro basketball game will come out on Wednesday afternoon as Paul Millsap has been listed as questionable with a knee problem.

This will be the third meeting of the season with the Thunder and Jazz. Each won and covered the point spread in their home game.

Utah has a road record of 10-23 on the season. They break a four game losing streak on Monday in a 103-90 home victory against the Detroit Pistons as a -11 point betting favorite. The game ended under 195 points. The Jazz had a good shooting night as the club connected on 51.9% of their shots and made 6 of 16 three pointers. They held the Pistons to 42.5% shooting and crushed Detroit on the glass by a 47-30 margin. Mo Williams for Utah led the team with 20 points and six assists on 9 of 14 makes from the floor. In the race for the playoffs the Jazz are tied with the Lakers for the eighth seed in the Western conference. Utah is poor defenders on the road by giving up 102 points per game along with 47.6% shooting to opponents. That’s not good going against an OKC team that lights up the scoreboard.

The Thunder is 28-4 on their home court. Their five game win streak was snapped on Monday in a 105-93 road defeat to the San Antonio Spurs as a +2 ½ point underdog. The game landed under 206 points. It was a bad spot for OKC playing the back end of a back to back and fourth game in five nights in four different cities against a rested Spurs team facing no travel. A tired Thunder team shot just 42.9% from the floor and made 6 of 17 three pointers. They allow 52.4% shooting to the Spurs and OKC gave away the game with 19 turnovers. Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 26 points and five assists on 7of 13 shooting. Oklahoma City now trails the Spurs by two games for the number one seed in the Western Conference. Oklahoma City is near the top of all four key offensive categories in the NBA. They also defend well by sitting 2nd in the NBA in defensive field goal percentage by giving up 42.9% shooting to their opponents season to date.
