Memorial held for shipwreck victims

A sombre memorial at sea for the victims of the Costa Concordia.

One year after the cruise ship capsized off Italy - killing 32 - survivors and relatives of the dead gather to remember the disaster.

They packed onboard this boat - which circled the luxury liner - some tossing flowers into the sea.

A memorial service was also held in the small town of Giglio, near where the Costa Concordia ran aground.

Among those on hand for the ceremony were the relatives of a French man who died in the wreck.

"It is tough, it is tough to see these images again," said one family member. "It is very difficult to take. There is a lot of pain."

During the church service, a priest also offered a prayer for the families of the victims.
